Matthieu Dupas

French literature and culture, gender and queer studies, early modernity, postmodernity

  • About

My research addresses representations of sex in some prominent French writers such as Guillaume Dustan, Michel Houellebecq or Virginie Despentes. Reading them in terms of the history of sexuality and queer theory, I explore the hypothesis that, in the postmodern era, sexuality might well be meeting its end.
