  • About

I am interested in aesthetic theory and the politics of aesthetics in late-twentieth-century and contemporary Latin American literature, particularly the ways in which increasingly global cultural, political, and economic configurations have remade the conditions for literary production and the possibility of aesthetic intervention from 1989 to the present.

Prior to joining the department I worked in the biomedical sciences at the Rockefeller University and UofM.
