If you need an official document translated (such as a drivers license or a passport), we recommend contacting one of the translators marked with an asterik (*). These people are instructors in our department, and we can stamp their translations with our official seal to indicate their affiliation with the University of Michigan. Our department does not offer official translation services, but most government agencies, such as the Secretary of State's office, will accept this as an official translation.

Note: The department of Romance Languages and Literatures assumes no responsibility for the services of those who, at their own request, are listed here. The department neither sponsors nor recommends individuals, but serves solely as a source of information.
