give some guidance on what the first-year college experience
is like for most students.

first-year students. It contains courses at the first-term first-year
level. It does not include closed, unopened, or canceled courses;
nor those restricted to Honors, RC, INTEFLEX, or CSP; and omits
those by override or permission of instuctor.

incoming first-year students. It contains courses aimed at new
students, some of which are not in the regular course guide,
and omits upper level courses.
