Museum Methods

Not a concentration program

The University of Michigan offers through the facilities of the University Museums laboratory/discussion courses for students interested in natural science museum work. The courses in museum methods are open to undergraduates concentrating in one of the many subject areas encountered in natural history museums. These courses focus not on the subject matter of natural history fields, but rather on the principles, methods, and techniques used by professional museum workers.

Museum Practice

Not a concentration program

Museum Practice is a graduate program intended for those contemplating a career in museums of art, archaeology, or history.
