UKRAINE 421. Directed Reading in Ukrainian Literature.

Instructor(s):

Prerequisites: Open to non-concentrators. A knowledge of Ukrainian is not required. Permission of instructor required. (1-4). (INDEPENDENT). May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 8 credits.

Reading can be done in English or in Ukrainian. Plan of study is worked out with each student on an individual basis. Hourly discussion sessions are held once a week, and a number of written essays are assigned per term (one for each credit earned).
