V puti is the primary text for this course, which will enable the student to function relatively comfortably in real-life Russian-language situations. This course reviews and expands grammatical concepts covered in the first-year Russian courses. The course greatly emphasizes the development of speaking and listening skills. Students read and write texts of increasing complexity discussing various cultural topics. Authentic language materials (including Russian films) are used extensively; students who successfully complete this course are ready to consider study in Russia.
Advisory Prerequisite: RUSSIAN 102 or 103 or RCLANG 193.
