ASIAN LANGUAGES AND CULTURES

The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures offers intensive language instruction in Japanese at the first, second, and third year levels (Japanese 361, 362, and 411), and in Chinese at the second and third year levels (Chinese 362 and 411). These courses are officially listed as Summer Term courses, but PLEASE NOTE that these language courses start several weeks before normal Summer Term courses (JUNE 17 to AUGUST 23). See Summer Term section of this Course Guide for course descriptions. All students must apply for admission to the program. Contact the department at 764-8286 for more information.
