Waitlist Procedures for Film and Video Production Courses.

Registration for Film & Video 200 (Introduction to Film Production) will be handled entirely through MPathways. NO WAITLIST FOR FV 200 WILL BE KEPT BY THE FV OFFICE. Waitlists will begin in the Film & Video Office on Monday September 25, 2000 for the following classes:

FV300
FV301
FV310
FV311
FV400
FV402
FV405

In order to apply for entrance into the above courses, you must go to the Film & Video office, 2512 Frieze, and fill out a waitlist form and turn it in to Sue Kirby. As in previous semesters you must then go to the first class meeting to claim a spot in the course. All enrollment decisions in the above mentioned 300 & 400 level courses will be made on the basis of these lists, with priority given to FV concentrators based on class standing and date of sign up. Entrance into FV 410 is determined by the permission of the instructor (completion of FV310 is required). In the future, we hope to be able to move all registration to M-Pathways. There are still some issues to be worked out in that system and we ask for your patience as we attempt to determine whether the new system can accommodate our needs. The waitlists will start September 25, 2000 and end December 13, 2000 for production Film & Video 300 and 400 level classes, with the exception of FV410. Please contact Sue Kirby at 764-0147, (sakirby@umich.edu), if you have any questions.
