Required Introductory Course

Students must elect this course in order to qualify for entry into the Screen Arts & Cultures concentration program.

This course examines the dramatic and psychological effects of the film elements and techniques ( e.g., camera movement, sound, pacing, lighting, lenses, acting, special effects) while also examining film's artistic and technological history. 4 Credits.
