• About

  After a circuitous journey around North America and through varying academic disciplines, Josh has happily landed in Screen Arts and Cultures for his PhD. He has conducted masters level research on feminist inquiries into music and activism and the problematics of the mass media's reaction to queer youth suicide. Currently he is interested in representations of queer sexualities and bodies in mass media, queer readings of canonical films and theories, and (especially) drag queens. He's gonna WERK!
