Dan Shere brings a wealth of real world experience to his Introduction to Screenwriting classes. After learning under screenwriting instructor par excellence, Jim Burnstein, Dan graduating from U of M in 1997 and has worked as a screenwriter for the past ten years. Dan has written screenplays for Fox, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, Blue Sky Animation, United Artists, and Comedy Central and co-wrote the short film, GEORGE LUCAS IN LOVE, a winner at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. Dan loves working “in Hollwood” while not actually having to live there and is excited to help groom the next generation of screenwriting of Michigan screenwriting talent.
