Alice Webber Glover Scholarship Awards AWARDS UP TO $3000.00 Established in 1976 in honor of Alice Webber Glover, these competitive scholarships are intended to help with the special costs associated with the writing and/or production of student film, video, or digital media projects. To compete for these awards, you should submit the following: (a) A completed application form including the name and phone number of a faculty reference in the Program in Film and Video Studies with whom you have worked. (b) An unofficial copy of your transcript. (c) For a production application: a one-page treatment for a new project or a work-in-progress, and the script, if available. For scriptwriting proposals: a writing sample demonstrating that the applicant understands the conventions of scriptwriting and a short synopsis detailing the proposed script’s plot, approach, theme, major characters, length, etc. (d) A budget detailing expenses (see Guidelines). (e) For production applications: two samples, and no more than two, of past film, video or digital work on VHS videotape. (If, however, you are seeking funds for a work-in-progress you may submit evidence of work completed at the time of the application. This will be counted as one of your two samples.)
