Welcome to the Department of Screen Arts & Cultures Awards and Endowment Section. We currently offer a variety of awards focusing in three areas: scholarly research and academic pursuits; production in film, video or digital media; and screenwriting. Proposals for awards will be judged using three basic criteria: the merit/quality of the proposed project; the quality of past work as indicated by the sample work submitted and the clarity and completeness of the application. Each of these criteria will be given equal weight in the judging of the proposals. A student's overall GPA will be a factor in contests for which a transcript is requested.

Awards are offered every semester, with specific deadlines established each year. Please note that the application is due by 4:00 PM on the day of the deadline. The application must be delivered by that day and time to the office of the Department of Screen Arts & Cultures, 2512 Frieze Building. No late applications will be accepted.
