Independent Video and Filmmakers (AIVF / FIVF) - The largest
national organization representing independent media artists

Directors Guild
of America - The Directors Guild of America represents more
than 12,000 members working in U.S. cities and abroad.
Dramatists
Guild - The only professional association for playwrights,
composers, and lyricists. Membership is open to all dramatic
writers, regardless of their production history
IATSE
- The IATSE is the labor union representing technicians, artisans
and craftspersons in the entertainment industry, including live
theatre, film and television production, and trade shows.
National Association
of Television Program Executives (NATPE) - The alliance
of media content professionals, is the world's largest and most
influential nonprofit television programming and software association
dedicated to the continued growth and convergence of all content
across all media.
Producers Guild of America - An organization of skilled television,
feature film and new media professionals qualified to organize
and supervise videotape, film and new media productions. Their
purpose is to promote and encourage the continuing education
and employment of its members.
Screen Actors Guild
(SAG) - Provides competitive wages and safe, excellent working
conditions for their members.
Society
for Cinema Studies (SCS) - Society for Cinema Studies is
a professional organization composed of college and university
educators, filmmakers, historians, critics, scholars, and others
concerned with the study of the moving image.
Society of Stage
Directors and Choreographers - An independent labor union
for Stage Directors and Choreographers. Member representatives
of the organization collectively bargain contracts with producer
organizations, thus creating the national standards for professional
stage direction and choreography.

The
American Screenwriters Association - Organized for educational
purposes, including the promotion and encouragement of the art
of screenwriting, helping to develop screenwriters to the point
they are working professionally and can obtain membership in
the Writers Guild.
The Directors Guild
of America - The DGA is here to serve and protect member
rights in the arena of filmmaking.
The Motion Picture
Association (MPA + MPAA) - Serve as the voice and advocate
of the American motion picture, home video and television industries,
domestically through the MPAA and internationally through the
MPA.
The Motion
Picture Editors Guild - - An entertainment labor union representing
picture, sound, music, assistant, animation, technical directors,
librarian and apprentice motion picture editors.
Union
Network International - Their job is to help affiliated
unions and their members to put people first in this increasingly
globalised economy. The Writers Guild East is an affiliated
member.
