Frank and Gayle Beaver Short Script Writing Prize
$1000.00 Award
The Frank and Gail Beaver Production Script Writing Prize will be awarded to a SAC student for a distinguished script developed in a Screen Arts and Cultures production class. Consideration for the Prize will be given to all forms of creative writing: experimental, narrative drama, documentary, animation. (Feature film scripts or television scripts written for screenwriting classes are not eligible.) The winner will be announced at the annual Hopwood Award presentation each April in the Rackham Amphitheater.
To apply:
(a) Submit two copies of the script or storyboards for projects not to exceed 30 minutes. Scripts may be up to 30 pages in length.
(b) One submission per student.
(c) A cover sheet including your name, student ID number, phone number, local address and permanent address. List the course number of the SAC class for which the script was written. Your name may not appear on the script itself.
