About Craig
Craig has been a resident of southwest Detroit since 1995, where he lives with his two children (Sam-7, Sophia-2) and wife, Vickie, (MSW-UM, 2005) who is a social worker. Craig worked for several Detroit community organizations from 1995-2002 (SOSAD, La Sed Youth Center, Alternatives for Girls, Guild Law Center, SEMCOSH) in both direct service and development/fundraising capacities. He worked as the Alumni Relations/Development Coordinator for U-M's Residential College from 2002-2008 until beginning his current position as Associate Director for U-M's Semester in Detroit program. In addition, Craig has done development consulting and contractual grant writing with over a dozen Detroit community organizations since 2000. He loves gardening, making silly faces and noises with his children, and has a new interest in woodworking.
