From the airport (DTW)
Detroit Metro Airport Taxicabs:
The fixed rate for a one-way trip to Ann Arbor is $39 plus tip. You should be sure to
inform the driver that you want the fixed rate. The cabs are white with orange trim and
are located outside the baggage claim area on
the ground floor of the terminal.
Commuter Express:
From the airport, the commuter will leave within 30 minutes of your ticket purchase.
For incoming domestic flights, tickets can be purchased at the ticket counter (look
for a white sign with red and black lettering) near the lower level American, Delta, or
Northwest baggage claim areas. When you buy your ticket, check that your destination is
included in the Ann Arbor stops. Return reservations should be made at the time of
purchase.
For incoming international flights, you should collect your luggage and call the
dispatcher at 1-800-488-7433 x 3 to schedule a pickup. You should expect the response to
be quick.
The cost for one way is $24; the round trip cost is $46.

Commuter Express:
From Ann Arbor, you should plan to call to reserve a ride at least 24 hours before you
wish to leave the city. The phone number is 1-800-488-7433 x 1.

Taxi service:
Taxi service from Ann Arbor to the airport is provided by (1) Blue Cab (734-547-2222) and
costs approximately $45 plus tip; (2)Yellow Cab (734-663-3355), approximately $43 to $46.
plus tip. You should call in advance to reserve a cab at a specific time. Both
companies will try to honor last minute requests but prefer to
schedule cab use in advance.
