Inanimate Nouns

Inanimate nouns refer to non-living, non-breathing things, like tulipan (tulip), projektor (projector), etc. The categories "inanimate" and "animate" are used exclusively when declining masculine nouns, adjectives, pronouns, and numbers. See also, Animate Nouns, Non-Virile Nouns, Virile Nouns
