There is a limited number of verbs with other less common or irregular alternations in the stem. Here is a partial list of these verbs:

• brać (to take)—biorę, bierzesz, bierze; bierzemy, bierzecie, biorą
• iść (to go by foot)—idę, idziesz, idzie; idziemy, idziecie, idą
• jechać (to go by vehicle)—jadę, jedziesz, jedzie; jedziemy, jedziecie, jadą
• móc (to be able to)—mogę, możesz, może; możemy, możecie, mogą
• pomóc (perfective of pomagać)—pomogę, pomożesz, pomoże; pomożemy, pomożecie, pomogą
