Verbs
that have the vowels -e- or -i-/-y- before the ending -ć belong
to the -ę/-isz, -ysz conjugation. Also included in this category
are three verbs with -a- before the ending: spać (to sleep),
bać się (to be afraid), and stać (to stand). For our purposes,
the -ę/-isz, -ysz conjugation consists of 4 subgroups.
Basic
-ę, -isz/-ysz endings
The basic endings are as follows:
