BCS 231/232: Second-Year Serbo-Croatian

This course builds on work done in 131/132, First-Year Serbo-Croatian, and assumes a good knowledge of grammatical structure of the language. Eemphasis is placed first on reading Serbo-Croatian and second on developing increased competence in speaking and writing. Opportunities are provided outside the classroom for conversation as well as for cultural activities.

Midterm and final greades will depend on the following parameters:

  1. Attendance and participation (15%)
  2. Homework (30%)
  3. Test and Quizzes (30%)
  4. Oral Project (5%)
  5. Final Exam (20%)
  6. TOTAL (100%)
  7. Extra Credit (5%)

Extra Credit assignments are discussed further in the semester.
