Workstations Available at the SLC

There are four areas within the main branch of the SLC providing computer access for our patrons. These are: 

PC Open Lab Computers

35 Dell OptiPlex GX 745 with the following configuration:

• Processor:  Intel Core 2 Duo
• Speed:  2.4 GHz
• Memory:  4 GB
• Disk Drives:  160 GB HD, SuperDrive (DVD-RW)
• Display:  19" Flat Panel Displays

Mac Open Lab Computers

22 Apple iMac

• Processor:  Intel Core 2 Duo
• Speed:  2.6 GHz
• Memory:  4 GB
• Disk Drives:  160 GB HD, SuperDrive (DVD-RW)
• Display:  20" LCD

Classroom Computers

Configurations are the same as in the Open Lab

• 22 Dell OptiPlex GX 745
• 1 Instructor iMac
• 1 Instructor PC

Cyberstations (Express Stations)

These stations are available for e-mail and internet access only. Printing is unavailable on these stations since the purpose is for quick access. There are four iMacs (with the same hardware specs as those in the Mac Open Lab area) available for use.
