The Science Learning Center employs students in a variety of roles. Some students work as Front Desk Monitors, some as Computer Assistants and others as Peer Study Group Leaders.

Front Desk Monitor positions (Office Assistant) are posted on the UM Student Employment website under the category "All Jobs - Office." Almost all of these positions are filled by students who have work/study awards.

Computer Assistant positions (Computer Consultant I) are posted on the UM Student Employment website under the category "All Jobs - Administrative/Professional." The majority of these positions are filled by students who have work/study awards.

Peer Study Group Leader positions (Tutor I) are described on our website on the Become A Leader pages including information about how to apply. These positions are available for students with work/study awards as well as those without work/study awards.
