There are three computing areas within the main branch of the SLC providing computer access for our patrons. These include: 

PC Section

35 Dell OptiPlex 990 running Windows 7 (64-bit):

Mac Section

22 Apple iMac running OS X 10.6 (64-bit capable)

• Processor:  Intel Core 2 Duo
• Speed:  2.6 GHz
• Memory:  4 GB
• Display:  20" LCD

Classroom

• 22 Dell OptiPlex 990 running Windows 7 (64-bit)
• 1 Instructor iMac: Intel Core i5, 2.7GHz with 8GB RAM
• 1 Instructor PC with the same configuration as all other PCs

ErgoPod:

The workstation is designed to accommodate sitting and standing as well as all types of wheelchairs. This ErgoPod includes 2 computers (Mac and Win), closed circuit TV system, scanner, and flat panel attached to a monitor arm.

Cyberstations (Express Stations)

These stations are available for e-mail and internet access only. Printing is unavailable on these stations since the purpose is for quick access. There are four iMacs (with the same hardware specs as those in the Mac Open Lab area) available for use.

Scanner Stations:
Several flatbed scanners available in the SLC computing site. Scanners are installed at both the Mac and Windows full-use workstations. These scanners are available for all Faculty, Students, and Staff to use during normal operating hours.
