  • About

I am broadly interested in the construction of meaning and ideas, the spread and acceptance of ideas within and across fields, and the means by which individuals or organizations take advantage of these meaning making and spreading processes. The theoretical lenses of sensemaking, institutional theory, social movements, and process theory inform my exploration of these phenomena.     Mark Mizruchi and I are exploring some of these questions in a project looking at why decision makers in corporations did or did not become actively involved in the debate on healthcare reform.
