    Leslie Rott received her BA in English and Sociology from the University of Michigan in 2007. She wrote a senior honors thesis entitled, "The Short of It: The Everyday Experiences of Short Females," for which she won the Robert Cooley Angell Honors Thesis Award.  As a graduate student at the U of M, Leslie's research, broadly defined, focuses on medicalization, qualitative methods, height/stature as a component of social inequality, and the importance of micro-interactions on broader social life.
