  • About

I am a doctoral student in Sociology. My research interests include fatherhood, family complexity, and social inequality.  My most recent project examines contemporary fathers’ parenting arrangements and assesses whether and how men’s socioeconomic resources are associated with their parenting configurations. As a trainee in the Population Studies Center, I am currently working with Pamela Smock to develop a new manuscript focused on the influence of family configuration on the intergenerational transfer of social inequality. I hold Ford Foundation and National Science Foundation Predoctoral fellowships. Outside of academia, I am a spoken word poet and enjoy watching movies.
