  • About

Fiona Rose-Greenland is a comparative-historical sociologist whose research interests center on material culture, politics, and regimes of social meaning. In her dissertation she investigates the black market in Italian antiquities, analyzing the contentious interplay of state power, nationhood ideology, and illicit collecting practices in forming Italy’s celebrated (and surprisingly unstable) national culture.
