The Latricia Turner Scholarship Fund was created to  provide scholarship support to Michigan resident students enrolled in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, based on their merit and financial need.  The Fund will assist students who have transferred from a Community College or Junior College in the State of Michigan.  Two scholarships, in the amount of $5,000, shall be provided each year for a maximum of two years per student, provided the recipients maintain a 3.0 grade point average.

Selection:  Finalists will be selected based on a review of the undergraduate admissions applications of all transfer students from Community or Junior Colleges in the State of Michigan admitted prior to April 1 of each year.  Four finalists will be selected to receive the scholarship based on the contents of their admissions application and financial need as determined by the FAFSA and the U-M office of Financial Aid.  Only students admitted for the fall term, enrolling in the college of LSA will be eligible.
