Workshop format: Sharon will use examples to show how effective filmmaking is used to motivate people to feel different emotions and even modify their behavior.

Who should attend this workshop: Any student who wants to effectively communicate the need for environmental behavior change. Applies to students interested in environmental policy, education, behavior change, communication/marketing, business, or community outreach. No film or editing experience or equipment is required to attend this workshop.

    From this workshop, students will:
    1. Work together as a group to conduct an "expert interview" and incorporate stock footage to create a short film
    2. Learn about the elements needed to create a film
    3. Engage in discussion about the important role that film and creativity play in communicating complex environmental problems and their potential solutions
    4. Learn how PitE students enter the workforce with the ability to do many different types of jobs.
