If you haven't stayed on campus during the summer before, you may have some questions about where to stay. Many students who stay on campus during the summer prefer non-University housing -- apartments, studios, shared houses, etc -- because summer sublets can be relatively inexpensive. And really, who doesn't prefer a bathroom that isn't shared by 30 other people? But that said, residence hall housing can be an easy option, and the University does maintain some limited on-campus housing options, primarily in the dorms on the Hill.
Students who may want to commute during the summer from a parent's house or other location will find parking far less crazy during the summer months. Neighborhood parking off campus isn't too hard to find, and the commuter lots with free bus service are easy to park in.
