• About

  I have taught in the English Department since 2000, and since 2003 at the Sweetland Center for Writing and the Lloyd Hall Scholars Program. I also serve, with my colleague Louis Cicciarelli, as co-director of Sweetland’s Dissertation Writing Institute, and as an advisor for students taking the Minor in Writing.

  Outside of teaching, I write fiction. Other interests include: the intersection of writing and other arts, film and visual literacy, technical writing, and graduate student writing development.
