• About

  I have taught at Sweetland since 2008 and specialize in writing in the sciences.  I teach SWC100 Transition to College Writing, SWC200 New Media Writing (with a focus on presenting science research), SWC400 Writing in the Sciences, SWC630 Advanced Writing for Graduate Students, and also work with students in Writing Workshop. I have worked as a scientist in atmospheric chemistry, neurobiology, and archaeological conservation. I am also a freelance science writer.
