Sweetland Minor in Writing
The Minor in Writing is open to U-M undergraduates who wish to develop as writers, both in and beyond their chosen academic discipline. Sweetland Writing Minors refine their writing over a range of courses to gain skills in writing for a variety of audiences and purposes. In the gateway and capstone courses, students create an electronic portfolio (eportfolio) to reflect on their growth as writers, demonstrate their proficiency in visual rhetoric and new media, and showcase their writing abilities. Applications are accepted twice a year, in March and October. Read more and find out how to apply!
