One-on-One Writing Support for Students
Each term, the Sweetland Center for Writing offers writing assistance for undergraduate students. If you would like an instructor from Sweetland to visit your class to describe our services, please e-mail Teri Ford to arrange a visit.
Your students will find our Writing Workshop in 1310 North Quad, and our Peer Tutoring Center is in G219 Angell Hall, with satellite locations in the Undergraduate Library, North Quad, Alice Lloyd Hall and the Dudersadt Center.
As you encourage your students to use our services this term, we ask you not to require their attendance or offer credit for it. We find that students who come to us of their own accord are more motivated to benefit from the session, and leave with a more productive attitude toward their writing and our services. Consequently, it is our policy not to provide "proof" of attendance. If you have any questions about this policy, feel free to contact Sweetland's Associate Director, Naomi Silver.
For more detailed information on our one-on-one writing support, please visit the Writing Workshop page and the Peer Tutoring page.
