Writing Requirements
LSA requires all of its students to complete the First-Year Writing Requirement (FYWR) and the Upper-Level Writing Requirement (ULWR), both administered by the Sweetland Center for Writing. To fulfill these requirements, students must complete an approved FYWR course and an ULWR course with a minimum grade of a C-. Read more...

Upper-Level Writing Requirement
The goal of the Upper-Level Writing Requirement (ULWR) is to teach students to recognize and master the writing conventions of their chosen concentration.
