Writing Requirements

LSA requires all of its students to complete the First-Year Writing Requirement (FYWR) and the Upper-Level Writing Requirement (ULWR), both administered by the Sweetland Center for Writing. To fulfill these requirements, students must complete an approved FYWR course and an ULWR course with a minimum grade of a C-. Read more...

Upper-Level Writing Requirement

The goal of the Upper-Level Writing Requirement (ULWR) is to teach students to recognize and master the writing conventions of their chosen concentration. Students receive extensive feedback on their writing from their ULWR course Instructors and are expected to revise their work over the course of the term. Click above for information on:
