Since 2002, Telling It has engaged more than 600 children and youth in Washtenaw County and has seen significant changes in the behavior, literacy skills and future vision of its participants. Engaging U-M students as role models for this vulnerable population is a major tenet of the program and is one of the keys to its success.

Independent but closely affiliated with the U-M Residential College, Telling It relies on grants and gifts to cover nearly all of its entire annual operating budget. In order to plan ahead and to commit to the programs that have life-changing impact on the youth in our community and our students, Telling It needs your support.

You can make a difference

Giving now will support this innovative program that employs art-based interventions, engaging U-M students in community settings within Washtenaw County that supports the educational aspirations and emotional healing of underserved school aged youth.
