The Understanding Race Project is sponsored by the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts with major support from the National Center for Institutional Diversity.
The campus-wide Understanding Race Theme Semester is coordinated by the U-M Department of Afroamerican and African Studies, Ginsberg Center, Museum of Natural History, Program on Intergroup Relations, and School of Social Work.
The K-12 and Community outreach components are coordinated by the U-M Museum of Natural History with support from many partners.
