Research Interests: Application of the landscape ecosystem approach as the basis for understanding the natural history and regeneration of woody plants and for conserving and managing entire ecosystems at multiple scales.  Research focuses on the diversity of ecosystems and biota in upland, riparian, and wetland landscapes.
