Research Interests: Vascular plants of the Great Lakes region; their taxonomy, identification, phytogeography, post glacial history and status in natural environments - with special interests in boreal and aquatic plants.

Dr. Voss is Emeritus Professor of Botany and Curator of Vascular Plants, Emeritus, University of Michigan Herbarium.
