Employment opportunities are available at the Biological Station in
Duties include instructional assistance in class/laboratory and in the field. Selection criteria include a relevant academic preparation (Biology preferred) and relevant experience in the open position. Minimum qualifications include good standing in the applicant’s academic department.
Actual hiring will be dependent on student enrollment. Applications will be accepted through April 15. Decisions will be made by April 29. We will provide notification of hiring decisions to all applicants within 14 days after the selection process has been completed. A list of qualified applicants will be retained and forwarded to faculty for selection for each class. Please note specific course you are interested in. Unsuccessful applications will be retained for consideration in the event that there are last minute openings. Upon request, any applicant denied employment will receive, within fourteen (14) calendar days, a written explanation of the reasons for denial of employment, unless he or she states a preference for an in-person interview with the hiring agent.
