Rex L. Lowe, Ph.D., Professor of Biology, Bowling Green State University
  Research Interests: Community ecology of attached algae, particularly diatoms. The structure of periphyton communities as effected by nutrient resources. Dr. Lowe received his Ph.D at Iowa State University. He teaches "Bio 457, Algae in Freshwater Ecosystems" during the UMBS summer session. He is currently Professor of Biology at Bowling Green State University.
