Sheila L. Jordan, CSP Graduate, May 2004
B.A. in Psychology.

Students in the department serve as teaching assistants for Emory’s undergraduate health education course, research assistants for various community research projects, and staff to the campus and statewide health promotion activities coordinated by faculty members of this department. The philosophy of the department defines the role of the instructor as mentor, the student as practitioner, and the community as classroom.
Graduates hold positions in public and private institutions participating in research and practice that are oriented to the promotion of health. Among recent graduates of the department are a Bioterrorism Preparedness Planner for the Department of Health And Human Services, Health Care Analyst and Research Coordinator with the CDC, Research Analyst with the American Cancer Society, Health Care Analyst with the U.S. General Accounting Office, Health Educator at the University Of Alabama, Health Care Consultant, Sexual Risk Reduction Health Educator, and Research Coordinator.

B.A. in Political Science.
Kareem graduated from New York University School of Law. While attending law school he served as Academic Co-Chair for the Black Allied Law Students Association and also served as a teaching assistant in the Lawyering Program. Kareem is an associate at Alston & Bird LLP in New York. He is a member of the firm’s Products Liability and Litigation and Trial Practice Groups. He currently serves as Coordinator of Alston & Bird’s Legal Clinic for the Homeless. He is happy to discuss the law school process as well as law firm life. - Tesenga Duncan, B.A. Sociology-1998, is currently a Human Resources Assistant at the Rackham Graduate School and a Graduate Student in the U of M School of Social Work.
- Romanda Kindle, B.A Psychology-1999, is currently a Resident Director for Bursley Residence Hall on North Campus, just recently received a Masters Degree in Sport and Recreation Management from Kent State University.
- Lauren A. Rice, B.A. Sociology-2004, is currently working in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as an Admissions Counselor.
- Sharowynn (Sherry) Wilson, B.A Political Science -2005, is currently working in the Physics Department as an Administrative Assistant in High Energy Physics- 363 Randall Laboratory.
