All-LHSP Meeting Date: Sunday, 11/15/2009; 04:00PM - 05:00PM Host Department: Lloyd Hall Scholars Program All-LHSP Meetings. Students must attend four all-LHSP meetings each semester. The Fall 2009 dates are: Sunday, September 13, October 11, November 15, December 13, 4:00-5:00 pm. Please make sure you reserve these dates and times for LHSP community meetings. If you have concerns with these dates, please let us know right away. The Fall 2009 meeting topics will be as follows: • Poet-in-Residence Vievee Francis reading/talk. • Writing Faculty Panel. A panel of writing faculty will read from and discuss their work, talk about how they became writers, and answer questions. • Artist Presentation/Talk (TBA) • Writing and the Arts: Professionalization. How to make e-port folios, write artist’s statements, publish creative work, or fi nd internships in the creative arts.
