Fields of Study
Professor Walter's research focuses on aqueous and solid phase geochemistry of sedimentary systems. Approaches range from integrated porewater-solid phase studies in modern environments (salt pans, carbonate platforms, deltas) to controlled experimental study of carbonate-silicate-evaporite mineral reaction kinetics.
