Fields of Study: Anishinaabe literature, poetry and drama; literature depicting Native American women, children and two-spirit characters; pre- and post-colonial American literature; Native American linguistics, teaching Ojibwe as a second language, transcription and translation of Ojibwe stories, socio-linguistics, and computational linguistics as applied to language preservation.
