Why did you choose to attend the University of Michigan?
I stayed in South Quad for two different weeks of football and wrestling camp last summer and really enjoyed the campus. I had earlier considered Princeton and Harvard, but early on senior year realized I was a Midwestern boy and Michigan was just the right fit.

What do you plan to study? Why?
I plan to study Mathematics and hopefully double in something else that happens to be interesting such as Linguistics or Psychology. I will also be taking up the Russian language. I have always been interested in Math so a major in Mathematics was an easy choice. The others come from my personal experience in the outside world.

What do you hope to receive from your experience at the University of Michigan?
I hope to receive an expansion of my consciousness as a person on many different levels. I am a small town boy and I just want to see the world.

Do you have a unique hobby or talent?
I raise chickens in the spring and summertime, which I think is unique to most people at the University of Michigan.
