Graduation Deadlines
We recommend students have their record audited two terms prior to their expected graduation date. If you are a teaching certificate candidate or if you plan to take your last term out-of-residence, it is particularly important that you have your record audited as early as possible. That said, the following are the final deadlines to apply for graduation from LSA:
August 2009 Degree Candidates:
February 20, 2009 – Students must have applied on Wolverine Access for graduation for their names to be printed in the booklet distributed at the Spring Commencement ceremony in April. (August degree candidates have the option of attending either the ceremony in April or December, so their names are printed in the booklet for both commencement ceremonies).
August 14, 2009 – FINAL deadline for students to apply for graduation on Wolverine Access and submit any release forms for August 2009
September 1, 2009 – All work must be completed to graduate in this degree period.
December 2009 Degree Candidates:
October 20, 2009 – Students must have applied on Wolverine Access for graduation for their names to be printed in the booklet distributed at the Winter Commencement ceremony in December. Degree candidates CAN apply for graduation after this date, but their names will not be printed in the commencement program.
December 14, 2009 – FINAL deadline for students to apply for graduation on Wolverine Access and submit any release forms for December 2009
January 1, 2010 – All work must be completed to graduate in this degree period.
May 2010 Degree Candidates:
February 19, 2010 – Students must have applied on Wolverine Access for graduation for their names to be printed in the booklet distributed at the Spring Commencement ceremony in April. Degree candidates CAN apply for graduation after this date, but their names will not be printed in the commencement program.
