The Physics Department has two LCD projectors for use with computer and video presentations for Departmental seminars and colloquia.

COMPAQ MP1600
The Compaq is the small projector and is available to Physics Department employees.

EPSON PowerLite 7700p
This projector is to be used ONLY for seminars, colloquia, and special events. It has a laptop computer available to use with it should a guest need one.

Student Services also has two projectors that can be checked out ONLY for teaching purposes or a class. Student Services also has keys to rooms 335 and 340 West Hall to access the Mounted Projector with networked computer. Please see the Student Services Secretary  for keys. All projectors can be scheduled for use by contacting the Physics Package Room at Phys-Packages@umich.edu.  The projectors are located in the Package Room 1425 Randall Labs and must be signed in and out each time they are being used. If after 4:00 P.M., the person who signed out the projector is responsible for locking it up for the night, and needs to return it at 8:00 A.M. the next morning to this same location.

Technical Services has the following equipment available for Departmental use:

• Television with a VCR
• VCR
• Video Camera
• Dubbing cable

All equipment can be used in conjunction with the Department’s Digital Projectors to give video presentations. This equipment can be reserved through Technical Services; however the projector needs to be reserved through the main office reception desk.

One more option is LSA Media Services (conveniently located in Angell Hall, (734) 763-5158 or visit online) which has many types of audiovisual equipment available for use. Equipment can be picked up as needed, although it is better to make reservations ahead of time.
